Urban Presence will not collect any personal information about you without your explicit consent. We may invite you to provide us with personal information in order to provide you with information and updates about Urban Presence by email, either directly from us or via ‘Mailchimp’.
All personal data you have given to us (basically name and contact details) will be kept securely.
We try to keep personal data current and rely on you to let us know of any changes.
The only people who would have access to your data are the associates and trustees of Urban Presence and that only for the purpose of sending you information and updates about Urban Presence. This will be in the form of an ‘UP To Date’ e-newsletter not more than 4 times a year and an occasional email informing you of a particular event or activity which Urban Presence believes may be of interest to you.
Our ‘UP To Date” e-newsletter is compiled by Urban Presence and sent to a subscribers’ list held securely on our behalf by Mailchimp (acting as our ‘data processor’). ‘Mailchimp’ is fully GDPR Article 32 compliant. Each ‘UP To Date’ includes options to view and update your contact information or remove yourself from our mailing list.
We do not pass your data on to any other person or organisation, unless you specifically request us to (except when legally required to, e.g. informing HMRC of Gift Aid donations to claim tax back).
The data we have about you is used to send you information related to the work of Urban Presence.
You have the right to see the personal data that we keep about you (e.g. your name, contact details, any notes of donations or requests for information).
You can opt out of our mailing list at any time by contacting us or using the option on ‘UP To Date’. (Please note if you make a Gift Aided donation, we legally must keep your details for 7 more years, even if you have asked to come off our mailing list. We will then keep your details for that time but will not send you mail).
